How long have you taught at Ki-Be?
This is my 13th year teaching and my first year at 5th grade!. I was a substitute teacher here for two years before I was hired. |

How long have you been married and do you have any kids?
I got married during spring break on March 31, 2001. I was Miss Henderson before. I have a son, Andrew, born on August 28th. He is now 5 years old.. My daughter, Abigail, will be 3 on October 26th. |

What is your favorite subject?
I like to teach all of the subjects, but when I was in school my favorite was writing. Now I also really enjoy curling up with a good book! |

Where did you grow up?
I moved around a lot since my dad was in the Navy. When I was in 4th grade I went to school in Maryland for the first half of the year and I finished fourth grade in Colorado. When I was in seventh grade we moved to Spokane where I lived until I finished college. I graduated from Ferris High School in Spokane and got my teaching degree from Eastern Washington University in Cheney. |

What are your hobbies?
I love playing with and watching my children. When I have time, I like to work out at the gym. I also enjoy camping and hiking. I enjoy watching baseball and football games. I also like to take road trips around Washington and Oregon. |
